About the Environmental Academy

The Environmental Academy is a centre of excellence for training courses and consultancy services. We are a multi-disciplinary consultancy and training company - providing support in many areas including Environmental, Quality, Health and Safety and many other specialties.  We operate throughout the UK and Internationally.

Established to help industry, commerce and the education sector, the Academy's core services and products aim to meet the growing demands of our changing environment.  With increasing legislative pressure and the very real impacts of climate change, there is a demand from employers for well qualified and knowledgeable staff to meet these challenges.

The Environmental Academy can help clients to develop Environmental Management Systems (EMS) that are designed to achieve certification to international standards such as ISO 14001 and the European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) or to phased certification schemes such as BS 8555.

We also offer support to implement Energy Management Systems (BS EN 16001, ISO 5001), Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001), Health and Safety Systems (OHSAS 18001) and the integration of these standards.

We can provide support in many specialist areas including; Environmental Communications Campaigns, Investors in People Award, Waste Minimisation Strategies, Environmental Impact Assessment, and BREEAM mentoring etc.

The Academy is an IEMA approved Training Provider. Wherever appropriate, our training courses are delivered to national standards. They are highly rated and identified as best practice by a range of external bodies. The Environmental Academy is also an NCFE Investing in Quality (IIQ) accredited centre. This allows us to develop and accredit any bespoke training. The Adult Learning Inspectorate (Ofsted) rated the provision of our training courses as outstanding, placing us in the top 10% of training providers in the UK.
